FIFA announces 4 friendlies for Mexico

FIFA's webpage has announced 4 friendlies for Mexico in 2014 although the FMF hasn't confirmed any of them. Still the strong rumors before the match of all of the 4 games, lead to believe it's only a matter of time before they do. Bolivia, Chile, Netherlands and Belarus are the rivals with 2 of the games being in the United States and 2 in Europe.

On September 5th Mexico will face Chile in San Francisco. Both teams come from great performances in the World Cup and are set to prepare for the next Copa America, which will be held in Chile. The last game between them was a friendly in Barcelona in 2011. Mexico won 1-0 on a goal by Andres Guardado.

On September 9th, Mexico will play Bolivia in Denver. Bolivia is also looking to prepare for Copa America and it will be their first meeting since 2010. In that game Mexico won 5-0, a game famous for having the first 2 goals of Javier Hernandez with the National team.

In November the Tri will travel to europe and face Netherlands in Amsterdam on November 14 and Belarus in Minsk on November 19. This will be the first tour of Europe since 2011 for the Mexican team and will have their rivals from the last world cup as well as the first experience in Eastern Europe, in preparations for Russia 2018.
